Privacy

Clip2Trip is not released yet. This page covers only what this website does today, which is run a waitlist. When the app ships, it will have its own privacy policy covering the app itself, and this page will be replaced.

What this site collects

If you submit the waitlist form, we store:

• The email address you typed.
• Where you came from: any referral tags in the link you clicked (for example a destination account name or campaign tag), your referring website, and your browser's user agent string.
• The date and time you signed up.

If you do not submit the form, nothing about your visit is stored. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no third party trackers on this site.

Why we collect the referral tags

Clip2Trip will be promoted through destination guide accounts. The referral tags tell us which of those accounts people actually arrive from, so we know where to keep posting. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not shared with anyone.

Where it is stored

Waitlist entries are stored in a Supabase database. Access is restricted: the website can add an entry but cannot read the list back.

What we do with your email

We email you when Clip2Trip is ready for early access, and occasionally before that if there is something genuinely worth saying. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.

Removing yourself

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us and ask for your entry to be deleted, and we will delete it.
